Boskenna Cottage is an idyllic, luxury self-catering cottage in a peaceful setting, just footsteps from St Loys Cove on the South West Coast Path. Designed especially for two, the cottage has been built with traditional local materials, Cornish granite and a slate roof. Inside you are welcomed by a spacious, modern and contemporary style, featuring double-glazing, under floor heating, classic open-beamed rooms and all mod cons.
Relax in a spacious living/dining area, or open the patio door to the private walled garden boasting sun loungers and a BBQ. On colder days you can sink into the sofa, switch on the large flat screen TV, DVD or stereo and make yourself cosy by the wood effect cast iron burner. Or, let your inner chef loose in the Ash kitchen, with granite worktops and all modern appliances including a ceramic hob, split level oven, integrated microwave, dishwasher, washer/drying machine and fridge/freezer.
The luxurious bathroom is meticulously designed as a place where you can unwind in the large shower or double-ended deep bath. And the bedroom is bliss – a king-size bed, comfortable furniture and a glazed door leading to the sheltered patio (perfect for earlier morning coffee or breakfast in the summer). Plus there’s no shortage of creature comforts including TV, stereo, hairdryer etc.
If you don’t want to fully self-cater, then breakfast and dinner (made from local and home produce) are available in the farmhouse by prior arrangement. Also in the house there are guest bedrooms providing high-quality B&B accommodation for up to 8 people. Boskenna is a small working farm with cattle – you are welcome to take farm tour, meet the animals, feed the hens and pick up the morning's freshly laid eggs.
Out and About
Don your walking boots and explore the South West Coast Path or the rugged moor land of West Penwith.
Get active with a round of golf course, sailing, cycling or horse riding.
Visit the open air Minack Theatre carved into the cliffs above Porthcurno beach (performances from May to September).
